It's a...

As always it has been a while since I last posted. This has been a busy and LONG month. One of the most exciting things to happen this month is we found out what we are having....It's a.......
GIRL!!!
We are really excited even though it is hard to think girly when we have a little boy running around the house. I am officially half-way (man you are pregnant for a long time) But do have to say I think this time around I am trying to enjoy the baby being "in" alot more.
Eli as always is everywhere and into everything. His favorite thing to do his get in the pantry climb to the third shelf to get his snacks... We REALLY need to get a lock on that door!! It is nice to actually be able to talk to him and him understand you and even talk back. He will be 18 months on Sunday.I know everybody says it but it really does go by fast.
Troy is busy busy busy with work and school and church. I don't know how he does it. I am starting to feel better. The nausea is mainly just at night which is so much more manageable than being all day. I have started feeling the baby move alot more which is the part of being pregnant that I love.
Here is a little look at what we have been up to:
January is birthday month for Troy and I. Yes that is me asleep on the couch. Eli was really sick on my birthday so by the time Troy got home from work and a church meeting I was worn out and still enjoying the "wonderful" side effects of being pregnant. I guess that is why its nice to have your birthdays a week apart because we were able to make up for it on Troy's birthday.
And yes I made that delicious chocolate peanut butter cake for Troy...it was AMAZING if I do say so myself.

A few weeks ago we took Eli for his second haircut. He hated it!!! It was NOT a fun experience. I do miss his baby curls but felt he did need to see and was tired of telling people he is a boy! It is impossible to get a real picture of this boy so for now the candids will have to work.

Last the two times it "snowed" Eli has been sick so we made sure he got to experience the snow this time around. He helped build his first snowman knocked it down and then was ready to go inside.

Usually Eli can't wait to take his shoes off. But lately he has realized that shoes=going outside so one of the first things he does in the mornings is go to his closets to try and put on his shoes.

Congratulations! We love girls...except we're probably biased. :) And I like Eli's haircut-such a cute little boy!
